Edible Soil Dinner
Multispecies Storytelling Conference - Vernissage Växjö Konsthall 2019For this transdisciplinary conference titled Multispecies Storytelling in Intermedial Practices I had the chance to create an interactive and performative meal experience for the vernissage of the accompanying exhibition at Växjö Konsthall.
The dinner resembled a big pile of soil, inviting guests to get their hands dirty and question the multispecies relations present in soil. Bringing up question of the viability of soil, farming, erosion, depletion of nutrients and quality. Emphasizing the need for respect and care towards the soil.
The dinner was made primarily with resqued ingredients from a local vegetable wholeseller. The dinner was completely plantbased.
